A historical monument, the Justus van Effen complex in Rotterdam
has a symmetrical disposition in space,
its centre being defined by A Tale of A Tub Gallery space.
As part of the exhibition Cutting Leaves for the Dogs, I designed
a one-on-one walk around the gallery space.
The walk, which lasts about 15 - 20 minutes with each person, is a mapping of another space in Rotterdam. It gradually evolves from bringing into discussion believable aspects to combining historical facts with fiction up to the point of relying completely on the use of imagination and projection over anchors points chosen in time and space.
